Spain and Italy 2002

Our trip to the 'Sierra Nevada' in Spain is the highlight of the year. Ahhaaa, the Sol y nieve, beautiful Sun and Snow- A skier's dream. We stayed (and skied) up in the Mountains, located directly above the 14th. Century City of Granada with it's beautiful Alhambra Palace. From the top of these majestic mountains, on a clear day, you can view the beaches of the Costa del Sol and, in the distrance, the coast of North Africa. The awesome snow, beautiful scenery, the bright sun, the paella- what more could you possibly want? In the evening we visited the Gypsy caves down in 'Sacromonte' for some Sangria and Flamenco dancing until the wee hours- Ole!! Next year, it's Andorra for sure!!
